3. Account Responsibilities

As an account holder, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Safeguarding API tokens issued to your clients.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Ensuring that your use of the platform complies with applicable laws and regulations.

4. API Usage

When using the Gate Access API:

  • API tokens must be kept secure and not shared with unauthorized parties.
  • You are responsible for any actions performed using API tokens you generate.
  • We reserve the right to rate-limit or revoke API access if abuse is detected.
  • API tokens should be regenerated immediately if a compromise is suspected.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Gate Access integrates with third-party services such as Twilio for phone-based garage opening. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. You are responsible for providing valid credentials and ensuring your usage complies with their policies.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Gate Access to:

  • Gain unauthorized access to any garage or property.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or access controls.
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

Gate Access is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to unauthorized garage access, service interruptions, or data loss.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the service at any time. Critical security updates may be applied without prior notice.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked, and all associated API tokens will be invalidated.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the platform or via email.
